The Parasaurolophus (pronounced PARA-soara-lof-us) lived in the Cretaceous Period. It also lived in North America, in Alberta (Canada), New Mexico, and Arizona.
Parasaurolophus stood on 2 legs, though it was not a theropod, theropod's are Carnivores.
It's unknown what it's head crest is used for. The most popular theory is that it is used to call others by making loud sound kind of like a whale's call.
Parasaurolophus could stand on both 2 and 4 legs, depending on what's happening. It was 30 feet long when it was fully grown. It's body mass was about 5,000 kg.
Scientists have found 17 Parasaurolophus specimens have been found.
That is most of the information that we know about the Parasaurolophus, thanks for visiting TDT! :D
