Allosaurus (pronounced AL-o-soar-us) was a predator that lived in the Jurassic period, in the Coniacian Age. It had not lived with the Tyrannosaurus Rex, but if it did there might of been big battles between them.
Its fossils are found in Africa, Europe and North America. It is also smaller then the T-rex, at 32 feet long and 16.5 feet tall. Its body mass was also 2090 kg (2 tons).
The amount of Allosaurus specimens found right now is 117. It had really strong legs, so it could run up to 19-34 mph. Allosaurus also had a tail that helped it balance.
It's 3 claws might have been used to grab prey.
That is most of the information that we know about the Allosaurus, thank you for visiting TDT! :D
