The Tyrannosaurus Rex's (pronounced Tie-RAN-o-SOAR-US Rex) name means "Tyrant King".
Also a T-rex's teeth are as big as bananas! Believe it or not, many dinosaurs (including the T-rex) had feathers as shown in this picture. It is also undetermined if they scavenged or hunted, and as adults they can grow to up to 20 feet tall!
The Tyrannosaurus Rex can grow to be 40 feet wide, too. They were also carnivores, or meat eaters, which is why they are in that section. The Tyrannosaurus Rex with the most bones recovered is named Sue, it got it's name because that is the name of the paleontologist.
They often clashed with theTriceratopsand it often wins.
That is most of the information that we know about the Tyrannosaurus Rex, thanks for visiting TDT! :D
